The Partners MS Center at Brigham and Women's Hospital
The first of its kind in the world, the Partners MS Center at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) is a vibrant hub of multidisciplinary research and patient care that brings together world-renowned experts, all focused on multiple sclerosis (MS). The Center’s primary goal is to help patients live normally, with the highest possible quality of life for the greatest length of time. To achieve this, the Center leads research to discover important biomarkers, develop new imaging techniques, and explore possibilities for new therapies and medications.
The mission behind our research and all that drives it is simple: cure MS. To do this, we will attack MS on all fronts to:
• Help patients who battle the disease today
• Arrest its progression
• Rebuild the nervous system
• Prevent the disease entirely in future generations
Philanthropic support has been essential to creating and growing the Partners MS Center. It has helped build our core infrastructure, propelled our research, and boosted our clinical services. As one of the world’s leading academic medical centers, BWH constantly redefines the standards of medical care.
Our new initiative, Pathways to Curing MS, will accelerate vital research and enable our physicians and scientists to find better treatments and improve the lives for patients with MS. Your support will help us move closer to finding a cure for MS.
